The Man for the Park?
Is David Norris
the president we need?
Who we put in the Park for the next seven years is important.
David Norris has announced his desire to run as a candidate in the presidential elections in 2011. Here at Campaign for Conscience, we believe it’s important who we put in the Park. This website is dedicated to providing you with the facts about this candidate. Who is David Norris? What values had David Norris embraced and advocated over his years in politics? And what beliefs are at the heart and centre of David’s race for the Áras?
Everyone wants a good president. However, many people disagree about what makes a
good president. Some say he or she should be charming and down-
However, while charm and chat can win friends and influence people, what a person believes and what principles and values they espouse will mark their career in the long run. What the President holds as important is what will surface time and time again, maybe not in their campaign for the Presidency, but most certainly during their term of what is one of the most powerful and prestigious jobs on the island of Ireland.

Does it take 6 months to draft a reply?
Posted by the Administrator, Monday 6th June 2011
The recent furore in the media concerning comments made by David Norris in the Magill Magazine article of January 2002 is long overdue. Any citizen aspiring to the highest office in the land must be willing to take account of his actions and to answer to the electorate.
However, the questions now being broached concerning Norris’ comments on paedophilia and incest were first raised by the author, Enoch Burke, in this website a full six months ago, backed by the relevant primary sources. DavidNorris4President.com was launched on Monday, 25th October 2010. Furthermore, a public call for a response on David Norris part was made on Dublin’s Q102 a week later.
The silence from the Norris Team was deafening. It appears that the reply drafted on their campaign website on May 17th last, a mere two paragraphs in length, took almost 6 months to draft.
For such a paltry, insufficient response, one question is fitting:
Why the delay?
